Here Comes The Bride, An Emotional Moments!

Weddings, in all cultures, are one of the most significant rituals in life. A couple’s journey begins when the bride traditionally steps from the arms of her parents into the arms of the man she will marry. It symbolizes the new journey that will now occur in both families. The young ones leave the nest, and the family dynamic is forever changed as the newlyweds form their own family together.

The entire experience starting from planning a wedding is fraught with emotion - joy, anxiety, and everything in between – to saying goodbye to family and friends and head off to the honeymoon, and perhaps nothing is more symbolic of a wedding more than the wedding dress itself.

Everyone always sees the bride come down the aisle, but when attention is drawn to the groom and have a quick glimpse of him trying to hold himself from shedding tears looking at his beautiful bride heading towards him in her father’s arms, realizing that their moment if finally here and they are about to start a new chapter of their lives binned together

Weddings also don’t only symbolize the romance between the bride and the groom; it contains a lot more romance between the parents and the couple... and even the community & friends of the marrying couple. It’s as a pretty wide expression of love between lots of people.

Thereby, crying is the most common behavior in weddings, and here it doesn’t mean sad thoughts or memories, it means the unbarring happiness and joyful emotions people experience during these wedding moments.

Some brides say that on this day they flashback to the days they played dress-up as little girls. They instantly regress to age 8 or 9. The brides’ mothers have flashbacks, too. Usually, of course, they think of the day they first saw themselves in their own wedding dresses and how time flies and now they are looking at their daughters, or they remember the words their late parents said to them when they tried on their dresses.

There is something about weddings that tend to pull on the good ole heartstrings. And of course, sometimes we try to attribute the tears to the blooming flowers nearby or the pollen floating in the air. In reality, it’s our hearts overflowing with joy and happiness for the lovely couple.

Standing before a family and watching the affection, excitement, and passion that poured in throughout the day is what pushes us here in Splash Wedding Studios; Capturing love and the true meaning of family and friends.
